Yesterday, birnecker.com was on the attack spam list of Google. Believe me, it is very unpleasant to have to deal with this. On the other hand it made me look at my website again and weed out a lot of things. I'd write more, but Lion Eli Birnecker is keeping me quite busy these days. Here is a picture of the latest addition to our family.

Unfortunately, I have gotten a little behind in the updates of this websites. We are in Washington, DC right now, but who knows how long we are going to stay here. There are a lot of possibilities out there.

If I didn't know it better, I'd say everyone in Berlin is out to get you. Maybe even this is too optimistic. The final days in Berlin have started. We are leaving the capital of old Europe - or at least Germany - to move to Washington, DC, the self proclaimed capital of the world. Sixty days are left at this point and I am not sure if this seems like a long or a short time to me. A couple of weeks ago, I was sad about leaving Berlin. Now I am wondering what might have triggered these thoughts. It is becoming more and more apparent that Berlin is showing us its cold side. It is acting like a grumpy old man and a woman cheated on in one person.

The website is currently undergoing a number of changes. Here are some of the areas I am working on:
- multilanguage support
- new content structure
- updated design
- new photo gallery
